"I have had a Generac standby generator for approximately 16 years. It worked well until recently it began to give trouble. Neil Farris of Lake James Electric came and spent many hours working on the generator, often on the phone with Generac Tech Support, all to no avail. Multiple parts were replaced. It soon became obvious that the generator was unreliable and needed to be replaced. I ordered a new Cummins standby generator through Lake James Electric and they installed the new generator on 6/1/2021. All work was done swiftly and professionally with only a short disruption of power to the house. Neil Farris has personally made multiple trips to my house both trying to repair the old generator and make arrangement to install the new generator.
