Neil and Kristen Farris

Meet the owners of Lake James Electric! Neil and Kristen Farris have been married since 2019 and started their business the same year! They are a blended family with three kids, two dogs, a cat and a frog! Both Neil and Kristen cherish building relationships with their customers, employees, and vendors; relationships are the foundation of the business and are what sets them apart from other companies. For fun, they enjoy spending time with family and friends. They also enjoy being at the lake (which is why they decided to name the company Lake James Electric)! Neil has over 30 years of electrical experience and is a certified generator dealer for Generac, Cummins, Kholer and Briggs & Stratton. Neil and Kristen are dedicated to providing every customer with a 5 star experience and are thankful to have the opportunity to be of service to the surrounding counties!

Meet Danielle! She is our Executive Assistant and has over 10 years of customer service experience. When you call our office, she is one of the staff members that will answer any questions you may have, and she will schedule your appointments for you! Danielle values building relationships with each customer! She also loves tedious projects and brainstorming ideas on how we as a company can better serve our customers. Danielle is personable, detail oriented, and pleasant to work with. A fun fact about her is that she loves nature and has a long-term goal to eventually live off grid! Her advice to any customer is to be as detailed as possible when calling in about any electrical issues so we can ensure our technicians are fully prepared to be of service to you! Greg was born in Arizona, moved to Columbia, South Carolina, but now calls North Carolina home. He has 23 years of experience in the electrical field! Greg loves new challenges and being around his co-workers! Nothing makes Greg happier than to help people in need. His advice to customers is, "Always call qualified electricians instead of doing it yourself, it can save lives!"

Hunter was born and raised in Maiden where he currently resides and is preparing for his baby boy! Hunter enjoys working and learning every day to become more efficient and knowledgeable in the field! His advice to customers is "The cheap way always ends up being the expensive way!"

Lalo resides in Statesville and has 5 years of hydroponic/electrical experience. When he's not working in the field, he's working as a talented music producer! His motivation is making customers happy! His advice to customers is "If you don't know what you're doing, don't mess with it!"
